5 5 User Roles To work with the Publishing Profiles, you must have one of the following roles in the Network Zone: General System Administrator Repository Administrator Cataloguing Administrator

6 6 Objectives By the end of this training session, you will be able to: Understand the Publishing to OCLC and LA process Configure the OCLC and LA publishing profiles in the Network Zone Run publishing the LA and OCLC publishing processes

8 8 The Publishing Profile synchronize bibliographic records with embedded holdings information, or holdings information only, with OCLC WorldCat. synchronize bibliographic records with embedded holdings information with Libraries Australia.

9 9 The Publishing Profile The details for the Publishing Process for either OCLC or LA are defined in the Publishing Profile. Each Export has it’s own profile record. The profile defines the DEFAULT Institution symbol, the ftp definitions and the scheduling of the publishing process.
