All the animals must judge what’s best to do. When the tree colors grow bolder, And the days start turning colder, Then they have their hardest season to get through. Every animal finds ways to dodge the chill. Geese fly off in a big wedge across the hill. Beavers build a lodge and creep in. Bears find cozy caves to sleep in. They pledge to come out in spring, and so they will.
