A High-Precision Location-Based GPS or WiFi Search, Alert or Warning System. Background The Ping4 Group, Inc. is just releasing and about to promote a product called Ping4Deals Tag-Lined “The Ultimate Shopping App. This software application queries a Central Server which we refer to as the VNS (Virtual Network Server). Note that this Central Server may be a single server, redundant servers, or a multitude of servers each handling a specific set of categories or geographic regions (explained later) The VNSQ (Query to the VNS) from the application includes Geopositional information as to the geographic location of the user. This information is either based on the GPS in their smartphone or the WiFi local IP where they are connected or could also be a manually input address or zip code. Included but not necessarily needed is the size of the geopositional trapezoid (interchangeably referred to as a Rectangle, Circle or Radius in parts of the text) as defined by the Top-Left Longitudinal & Latitudinal and Bottom-Right Longitudinal & Latitudinal coordinates of the area to be searched by the VNS. This is not to say that the simple Point GPS Coordinates of the User could be sent with or without the Bottom- Right, Width, Height, Radius, Circle etc. or even allow the VNS to determine the closest Stores, Deals or whatever to the requestor based on Server parameters. Also Included but not necessarily needed is an array of Category information data to help the VNS filter the results of the geopositional VNSQ. An crude example of the Search use of this technology is that a user with an Smartphone is standing at the corner of 5 th Avenue and 42 nd Street in New York City searches for Coffee Shop Bargains in a 0.1 mi radius. The VNSQ request would be sent by the Smartphone and the VNS would reply with all Coffee Deals bounded by 4 th Ave., 40 th St., 6 th Ave., and 44 th St. (We editorially assumes that Avenues are 0.1 miles apart and Streets are 0.05 miles apart.) An crude example of the Alert use of this technology is to assume that there is only 1 great Deal on Coffee at the corner of 5 th Avenue and 42 nd Street in New York City. A User has his Ping4Deals Deal radius set to 0.1 mi. The pocketed Smartphone would send a VNSQ request on Positional Change or Timed intervals to the VNS which would reply with the Coffee Deal if the user wandered into the area bounded by 4 th Ave., 40 th St., 6 th Ave., and 44 th St. 3 February 2016 Confidential, Copyright & Patent Pending by Ping4 Group, Inc. 22

A High-Precision Location-Based GPS or WiFi Search, Alert or Warning System. Abstract Note that since the Ping4Deals Product in the Background slide has not yet been widely distributed and no copies have been sold as of this filing, Ping4 Group, Inc. reserves the right to file any patents based on the information included in the Background section as well as this Abstract and the Claims -following. Note also that the basis's for Independent and Dependent Claims are formed and claimed in the Background and Abstracts sections. Ping4Alerts is the working brand name for a new product based on many of the features of the Ping4Deals product. At our sole discretion, we may combine the product features and inventions into a single application or release them separately. Unlike Ping4Deals, Ping4Alerts is not just a Shopping and Deal Alert App, but also a Global, National or Regional Alert System. The same or separate VNS that that was queried by all phones for Shopping Deals expands it’s database to store and be queried in a new manner. Stores with or without Deals were historically stored as a single Geopositional Point. The VNS database now additionally stores a geopositional Alert trapezoid (interchangeably referred to as a Rectangle, Circle or Radius in parts of the text) as defined by the Top-Left Longitudinal & Latitudinal and Bottom-Right Longitudinal & Latitudinal coordinates of the area containing an Alert or Warning. The smartphone user’s Point GPS coordinates are either sent in the VNSQ or Calculated by the VNS from the original VNSQ format and if the VNS determines that the user is within one of these rectangles, It issues an Alert Notification or Warning to user. Like the Ping4Deals application, this can either be initiated by the user by opening the application or browser applet and hitting a [Search for Alerts] button or from the sleeping pocketed Smartphone that is routinely or geopositionally polling for Alerts. As a dependent claim, we are aware of the benefits of storing large stores and malls as Deal rectangles vs. Deal points and therefore searching for rectangle-rectangle intersections rather than point-rectangle or rectangle-point intersections. The IP address or connected or triangulated Cell Tower location may also be used to determine the geopositional Alert status. Alerts might be sent via Text message or Phone call to any cellphone user based on their geoposition. 3 February 2016 Confidential, Copyright & Patent Pending by Ping4 Group, Inc. 33
