5. What Are Our Responsibilities To The Local Church?

6.  Not Forsake Assembling Of Ourselves …(Heb. 10:24-25). –“Consider one another” - “ Think about, regard, thoughtful, look at closely, turn over in mind...” –The Context: “Persecution.” Should it be any different in times of peace and safety? –“Assembling of ourselves” – As a member I’m responsible to the local assembly.

7.  Financial Support - To The Local Work. (I Cor. 16:1-2). –ORDER: institute, prescribe, etc.: -- appoint, command, give, (set in) order, ordain. –EACH ONE: Whether rich or poor – All are to give! “…this poor widow has put in more than all…” (Mark 12:43).  This Is How The Local Church Functions!

8.  TRUTH..(John 8:31-32; 17:17-21).  Work Together To Arrive At Truth... (I Cor. 1:10; Col. 3:17).  Communicate: –Essential to any relationship. –Essential to solve problems.  Must Not Be Stubborn – Serve Own Interest (III John). –Essential to promote growth.

9.  COMMAND... (Ephesians 4:32).  Must Not Show Partiality... (James 2:1-7).  Greet One Another With Reverence... (Romans 16:5-16).  What You Say To & About One Another … (Colossians 4:6).  Bearing With One Another “to hold up”... (Colossians 3:13).

10.  Brethren Sometimes Fail To Use Good Judgment. –Work to solve one problem while creating two more. –Fail to see where things lead.  Need Spiritual Maturity: –Mature Students, (Heb. 5:14). –Strong Soldiers, (Eph. 6:13). –Wise Leaders, (Col. 4:5-6).
