Slide 3 How we got here –Two very thorough reviews received a few months ago – WG secretaries helped categorize the various points raised –We carefully reviewed all the issues opened This took quite a while! We (the document editors) were late –We missed both the WG chairs requested targets Current Status

Slide 4 draft-ietf-lisp-07.txt Each issue we categorized 3 ways –Issues that clearly needed draft changes –Issues that we think need changes, but we didn’t know what to say –Issues that we disagreed with the reviewer comments The spec change comments not completed by this meeting –The other two categories made it to the list –This might make us seem like we rejected all the comments But only 30 of the 80 comments got those kind of replies In hind sight we should have waited and sent the positive change comments first. Apologies!

Slide 6 draft-ietf-lisp-07.txt Examples of we would like to spur discussion on (we think we should make changes but not sure what to do): –LISP and uRPF and Anonymous Tunneling(Issue#58) –Map-Cache Validation (Issue#36) –ETR Failure Restoration (Issue#55) –PIvsPA (Issue#87) –Re-encapsulating Tunnels underspecified (Issue#112) We would like to see people discuss these threads (and any other threads) on further list.
