2. Purpose and member of CJK-SITE The CJK-SITE is established in 2007 to cooperate with China, Japan and Korea for international standards activities on IT and Electronics. The CJK-SITE is led by industrial bodies and private companies. [Extract from CJK-SITE Principles] Purpose The CJK-SITE is a voluntarily cooperation initiative which seeks to establish a good relationship among China, Japan, and Korea. Its primary focus is on the international standardization activity of ISO/IEC JTC 1 and IEC TCs which are related to information technologies and electronics. Member body The CJK-SITE consists of the following member bodies; - China: Industrial bodies (CESI), and companies; - Japan: Industrial bodies (JEITA, JBMIA, ITSCJ, JSA), and companies; - Korea: Industrial bodies (KSA,KEA,KETI,ETRI), and companies. SAC, MIIT, METI/JISC and KATS are advisors.
