A one month old, tiny girl from our childcare centre came to Healthcare with a severe respiratory infection and congenital heart disease. 6 We are very glad that we have two Chinese doctors involved as volunteers in our village doctors’ training programme. Dr Meng, who is working in a university hospital, has a great desire to provide medical training. Her training topic is Cerebrovascular Disease. This helps village doctors have a better understanding of the diagnosis and treatment principles and protocols. Dr Wang from Tuberculosis Infectious Hospital gave a lecture on Diagnosing Tuberculosis. All the village doctors show tremendous interesting in the training sessions as Dr Wang updates their old medical knowledge and treatment techniques.
