2. Mission statement Parkland Health and Hospital system: It’s Dedicated to the health and well being of individuals and communities entrusted in our care. Also to treat patients with integrity, consideration, and respect. Baylor Dallas Hospital: Founded as a Christian ministry of healing, Baylor Medical Center at Dallas exists to serve all people through exemplary health care, education, research, and community service. Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital: to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve.

3. Specialties Parkland Health and Hospital system: This hospital has many specialties. For example, there’s adult care, emergency, intensive care, nurse specialties, youth and family centers, and more. Baylor Dallas Hospital: This Hospital has many specialties. For example Cancer Care, Transplant Services, Woman’s Health, Digestive Diseases, and etc. Texas Presbyterian Hospital: heart and vascular, cancer, orthopedics, women and infants,neoro sciences, digestive health, behavioral health, and weight loss.

4. Classifications Parkland Health and Hospital systems: This hospital is non- profit. It accepts all patients from the Dallas county. Residents from surrounding counties who don’t have public hospitals of their own regularly find treatment at Parkland. Baylor, Dallas Hospital: Baylor Dallas is a Private hospital. The hospital became Texas Baptist Memorial Sanitarium. Texas Presbyterian Hospital: Texas Health Resources is one of the largest faith based, non-profit health care delivery systems in the united states and the largest in north central Texas in terms of patients served. The systems primary service area consist of 16 counties in north central Texas, home to more than 6.2 million people.

5. Comparative Analysis Parkland Hospital Baylor Dallas Hospital Presbyterian Hospital Similarities The parkland hospital opened in 1894. The hospital created one of the first high- risk antenatal units in the nation. It’s also the first neonatal intensive care unit in North Texas. Dr. William. H. Elliott, Frank. H. Kidd, Toddie Lee Wyne, and Rodric M. Bell had came up with $4 million fund drive for the hospital. There are 300 beds, 200 physicians, and 175 employees at this hospital. Baylor, Dallas was the first hospital. There are 1,185 employees. They have 34 specialties that they can help with. They have 11 different types of cancers. The similarity is that all our hospitals have almost the same specialty services such as: Cancer care, women’s health, Infant’s health, orthopedics, and surgery.
