Recommendation I Working Group I - Compilation of Universal Harmonised Code for TM Terms of Reference –Pharmacopoeia compilation –Quality norms compilation (harmonise supporting science) –Negative & Regulated access to medicinal plants and inputs –Pharmacopoeia database compilation and digitisation –TM Practice & Registration permission Guidelines –GMP GLP GCP Guidelines –Product classification – medicine, cosmetics, dietary supplements and food –Registration procedure and Dossier requirements –Issues relating to IPR –Compilation of Traditional Knowledge Digital Library –Geographic Appellation –Community IPR & benefit sharing mechanisms –Database of TM Agencies in various countries for coordination

Recommendation II Working Group II - Education and Practice of TM : Terms of Reference –Recognition of qualifications – degree and non degree –Allowance for registration and practice in other countries –Recognition of therapies and therapists as per TM –Student exchange and reorientation programmes –Facilitate complete flow of knowledge to a specified curriculum and object – Scientific & Edu dialogue –Methodology to mainstream TM in health care sector

Recommendation III Working Group III - Trade Facilitation and Awareness Programme through ICTM Trade Fairs should be held every 6 months in various countries to sensitise and propularise TM sector Trade Facilitation Cell to be established by all countries for a single window of Trade and Practice related issues Information sharing on alerts and recalls

Recommendation IV WHO Involvement Nomination of a representative on Working Groups Direction and Guidelines for effective coordination Recognition and vetting of all guidelines and output from Working Groups Facilitate TM countries participation

Effective Output of Working Groups –Must have representative from all participating countries –Defined ToR and milestone deliverables –Should communicate and coordinate through nodal agencies – Chair and Co Chair –Should meet every 6 months for update and progress –Should deliver final output for consideration in 18 months
