3. 3 What is VideoMD 全名： Video Technical Metadata Extension Schema 源起：由美國國會圖書館所設計 VMD is a set of technical data elements required to manage digital video files. (VMD 是一個管理數位視 訊檔案的技術資料元素表 ) VIDEOMD 有 36 個元素，是為了數位圖書館計畫和典 藏數位化視訊資料而設計 2006 年 Megan Bibb 和 Jennifer Colby 對於視訊數位物 件的詮釋資料報告中，有討論到 VideoMD 。它是適 用在視訊檔案資訊上，例如位元率和壓縮等。
