Basis for serial communications is the Active X component called MSComm. MSComm allows program to open/close and setup a serial port (i.e. Com1). Data packet from PIC is parsed and temperature and pressure can currently be displayed. Next Steps Add graphical representation of data through National Instrument’s Active X components. Add GPS and other sensor data to display. Graphical User Interface
