1 Quality Education-Proposed structure 1/4 Appointment /induction of teachers at the time of appointment of teachers, professional qualification may be made mandatory, from recognized university as full time students. At least Half duration of B.Ed/M.Ed course be allocated for practical work at various Lab schools. Head of the Labs/ practicing school must recommend for suitability as professional teacher Students feedback may also be considered.

2 Quality education- proposed structure 2/4 01 year probation / internship after BEd students in Government schools not only cover deficiency of teachers but will also help in confidence building of prospective teachers. Portfolio of prospective teachers for this duration be evaluated for attitudinal requirements. For their benefit, substantial wieghtage be given as marks for their regular appointment in addition to other pre-requisites.

3 Quality education- proposed structure 3/4 Service structure for teachers may be revisited. Teacher appointed for ECE/primary level may continue in the primary level with provisions of promotions subject to other pre- requisites. Same may be applied for elementary and secondary level teachers. Performance linked Increments and promotions

4 Quality education- proposed structure 4/4 CPD at school levels (for elementary, high and higher secondary levels) Weekly sessions/workshops for professional development Link this with training credits and personal development for promotions Certification and licensing of teachers

5 Quality education delivery mechanism 1/2 Students aptitude assessment and vocational training facilities at schools Establishment of schools of excellence for various trades/ vocational outcomes Linkages with the market for end use of vocational training out come. provide updated knowledge for proper application skillfully

6 Students learning and training 2/2 Activity Based teaching, learning in the class Training through Physical training/sports, art and craft. (e.g. Daily Mile 15 minutes walk) Training to improve writing skills and spellings “Pair work” learning Aptitude of students when in class 6, link with vocational training and education.
