2. What was the Cold War? Battle of ideas between United States and Soviet Union. Not an actual war between those countries. Used words and wars between smaller countries to fight each other. Lasted from 1946-1991.

3. What caused the Cold War? US & USSR only superpowers after WWII. –Each wanted to be strongest. Different political and economic systems. –Democracy (US) vs. Dictatorship (USSR) –Capitalism (US) vs. Communism (USSR)
