3© Scott/Jones Publishing, Inc. Creating Forms Many businesses create a form that is used over and over within the company. The form may be placed on the Web through the company intranet, making it accessible to many employees throughout the business. These forms may be sales invoices, expense reports, payment vouchers, or other forms used in the business.

9© Scott/Jones Publishing, Inc. Validating a Form In order to create accurate forms, the data and formulas must be accurate. Restricting access to the form and protecting it retains its accuracy. Providing instructions for using a form is helpful for the user and eliminates questions for the person creating the form. Validation provides instructions for completing the form and will instructs the limitations of the data that can be accepted.
