Develop agriculture led development that eliminates hunger, reduces poverty and food insecurity, opening the way for export expansion.

1. Extending the area under sustainable land management and reliable water control systems; 2. Improving rural infrastructure and trade related capacities for market accesses; 3. Increasing food supply, reduce hunger, and improve responses to food emergency crises; and 4. Improving agriculture research, technology dissemination and adoption.

Capacity Strengthening for Agriculture and Agribusiness: Academic and Professional Training; and Information for Agricultural Strategy Formulation and Implementation.

Improve agricultural productivity to attain an average annual growth rate of 6 %, Promote dynamic agricultural markets within countries and between regions, with focus on small scale women; Integrate farmers into the market economy and improve access to markets to become a net exporter of agriculture products;

1. Achieve a more equitable distribution of wealth; 2. Be a strategic player in agricultural science and technology development; and 3. Practice environmentally sound production methods and have a culture of sustainable management of the natural resource base.

1. 19 countries signed CAADP 2. 4 have reached full implementation stage 3. 10% budget to agric. reached in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Malawi, Ethiopia, Mali Guinea & Senegal e.t.c. 4. More than 20 countries have recorded at least 6% agricultural growth rate
