Most common chemical sedimentary rock is limestone. Forms in shallow sea water CaCO3 precipitates out of sea water and forms limestone.

Geodes – silica filled cavities in limestone left by gas or organic matter that has decayed

Evaporites – crystals form when water evaporates gypsum, halite
