E.C. 48260 Truant Pupils absent three full days or tardy in excess of thirty minutes on three occasions one school year Any pupil subject to compulsory full- time education or to compulsory continuation education who is absent from school without valid excuse three full days or tardy in excess of thirty minutes on three occasions one school year or any combination thereof, is a truant and shall be reported to the attendance supervisor or to the superintendent of the school district. What is Average Daily Attendance (ADA)? Average Daily Attendance Monies come from the state and make up a majority of the money in the General Fund. Since 1998 the state has calculated these monies based upon IN SEAT attendance only. 2014-15 ADA: $ 51.59 per student/per day.
