6. Student Activities  Students are to create a persuasive letter to Hitler –Address Germany’s concerns towards his actions –Offer alternate solutions to the economic problems –Explain the potential outcome of his actions

7. Student Activities (cont’d)  Students are to Create a Timeline –Should begin with Germany’s loss in World War I –Should end with Germany’s defeat in World War II –Must include 15 important events minimum

The Holocaust  Hitler’s ability to pull the country out of economic hardship made people believe in him –People were willing to listen to him  Called Germans the Master race –Blue eyed and blond hair though his was dark  Resulted in the extermination of approximately 6 million Jews –Hitler’s terror not limited to Jewish genocide
