Let’s look a little closer

Control the entire sales order process with simple controls. Create a new sales order line. Confirm a single line or the entire order.

Let’s create a new order then save it.

Note: the Sales Order number is assigned, it can also be manually entered. Now let’s enter a sales order line.

Enter as few as three pieces of information, then save.

The new line has a status of INITIAL. Let’s look at some of the line detail and policies that were automatically loaded for you.

Let’s Confirm the order line and see the change of status.

CONFIRM PENDING means the order line is in transit to MFG/PRO eB for processing.

A CONFIRMED status means that MFG/PRO eB has received the sales order. A short time later the status has changed.

How do we cross- reference the orders? QAD eQ assigns a fulfillment order number, in this case 100090.

Let’s change hats and move to the MFG/PRO eB system for the shipment. This could be across the street or halfway around the world.

Notice the order number created in the system Let’s ship the order

A simple shipment process. The shipment is seen in eQ. Let’s go back and take a look.

Note the change of status.

This concludes the demonstration of QAD eQ integrated with QAD MFG/PRO eB
