Elizabeth Cady Stanton American woman’s suffrage leader who organized the Seneca Falls Convention. Co-Founded the National Woman’s Suffrage Association in1869. Co-authored the Declaration of Sentiments, which demanded equal rights for women.

Lucretia Mott American woman’s suffrage leader who helped organize the Seneca Falls Convention. Co-authored the Declaration of Sentiments, which demanded equal rights for women.

Susan B. Anthony American social reformer who was active in the temperance, abolitionist, and women’s suffrage movements Co-Founded the National Woman’s Suffrage Association in1869 Made it a political movement. Demanded to have equal pay for equal work. In 1860, she petitioned more than 6,000 signatures to give women ownership of their wages and property.

Declaration of Sentiments Signed at the Seneca Falls Convention (NY) in ‘48 during the first public meeting about women’s rights. Authors use the same words as in the DoI – “men and women are equal” 100 people signed the document that launched the women’s movement.
