3 Elizabeth Cady Stanton American woman’s suffrage leader who organized the Seneca Falls Convention. Co-Founded the National Woman’s Suffrage Association in1869. Co-authored the Declaration of Sentiments, which demanded equal rights for women.

4 Lucretia Mott American woman’s suffrage leader who helped organize the Seneca Falls Convention. Co-authored the Declaration of Sentiments, which demanded equal rights for women.

5 Susan B. Anthony American social reformer who was active in the temperance, abolitionist, and women’s suffrage movements Co-Founded the National Woman’s Suffrage Association in1869 Made it a political movement. Demanded to have equal pay for equal work. In 1860, she petitioned more than 6,000 signatures to give women ownership of their wages and property.

6 Declaration of Sentiments Signed at the Seneca Falls Convention (NY) in ‘48 during the first public meeting about women’s rights. Authors use the same words as in the DoI – “men and women are equal” 100 people signed the document that launched the women’s movement.
