Wagon Wheel Council Who can earn the Silver Award? P Must be a Cadette GS – concluded bridging from Juniors to Cadettes – registered as a Cadette P All work must be done as a Cadette P Final project must be completed prior to becoming a Senior GS P May take 2-4 years

3 Interest Projects Everything on the left must be completed (in any order) prior to beginning your next step: Your Silver Award Service Project or Leader- ship Challenge Careers or 5 IP Career Activities Silver Award Report Form Steps Toward Silver

Wagon Wheel Council Interest projects P Earn IP’s that interest you – Let them lead you to your Silver Project P Some IP’s relate to almost all projects P Sometimes there’s just 1 activity that relates P Once you pick a project, earn related IP(s) Earn 3 IP’s related to your Silver Award Project

Wagon Wheel Council Careers P Dreams to Reality – Select 5 of 6 stated requirements or P Complete 5 Career Activities from any IP’s – No “double-dipping”! – No patch or pin Dreams to Reality or 5 Career Activities

Wagon Wheel Council Leadership P Leadership Award – Read, do 1 activity from Leadership IP – 25 hours of leadership In at least 2 different settings Each setting must have a minimum 3 hours Planning hours must be logged – Leadership is different than Service Cadette Girl Scout Leadership Award or Leadership Interest Project Patch Cadette Girl Scout Leadership Award or Leadership Interest Project Patch

Wagon Wheel Council Be honest and fair P Fully complete each requirement P No “double-dipping” T his is the highest award a Cadette GS can earn -- make your effort worth the honor

Wagon Wheel Council Silver Award Project P Service project – For community or involve community P Your own project (not part of existing program) P Minimum 30 hours – At least 7-10 hours implementation – Remaining hours planning and preparation
