Project Highlights Project Brief: This project is about preparing an ecommerce web site for computer parts configuration. The website has to offer several components and check if they are compatible for example, only show intel LGA1155 when LGA 1155 motherboard is selected. The site has to check for compatibles parts like it has to show LGA1155 sockets when an LGA 1155 motherboard was selected. The website must have an eye catchy and nice graphical interface that will clearly match with the user expectation. Some references given by the client with respect to the website design are as follows: https://pcpartpicker.com/parts/motherboard/ https://pcpartpicker.com/parts/ We should not copy the design, just can take the concept from those sites. Now the technical functionalities are as follows: There will be an admin panel from where the admin will add new products, categories, specifications and other necessary details. Now from the front end user can choose among various components like motherboards, HDD, DVD writers, Cases, memory cards, RAM, CPU, GPU, UPS etc. and can configure their gaming PC. The client doesn’t want to sell separate parts. Only complete builds so we should keep that in mind, it's not a classic web-shop. So therefore a normal category search is not needed. They are not really categories, for this functionality this reference link can be followed https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/NPXscf/fx-6300-gtx-960-gaming-pc.https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/NPXscf/fx-6300-gtx-960-gaming-pc If user clicks on any one category say for example CPU, then all the products under this category will be displayed as a list. Then on clicking the individual products from the list the user will redirect to the product details page where all the information will be shown in detail. User can add individual products to cart and can check out for payment. For payment client wants to integrate a new payment gateway Gate2Shop instead of the normal PayPal.
