The Nepal DEC appeal to date has raised £85 million… But… The humanitarian phase is not over Over 370,000 households still remain without appropriate temporary shelter. 58,000 people are still largely under tarpaulins in 120 displacement camps. Over half a million people across the earthquake affected areas do not have regular access to food, with a poor rice harvest likely to challenge this further. The winter is also approaching, and we estimate that over 81,000 families over 1,500m will require support to keep them warm, in the absence of permanent housing. Humanitarian Response
