Conference Proceedings Citation Indexes now in Web of Science –Two editions – Science and Social Science & Humanities In the Web of Science: linking of author names and address information –Back dated to January 2008 Citation Map – limit by date range; enhanced title display Support for linking to a specific database in Web of Science Links to NCBI resources

3 Conference Proceedings Citation Indexes Content from ISI Proceedings now available as separate databases in Web of Science –Conference Proceedings Citation Index- Science (CPCI-S) –Conference Proceedings Citation Index- Social Science & Humanities (CPCI-SSH) Coverage from 1990 onwards –Cited references from 1999 –Integrated citation navigation, including Times Cited –All features are unified; such as Citation Alerts, Citation Report, Cited Reference Search, Refine and Analyze New searchable “Conference” field in Web of Science –Search for conference literature by date, title, sponsor, location, etc.

12 Citation Map enhancements The Citation Map now includes a scroll bar to limit the results by date of publication

13 Citation Map enhancements As can be seen here, it is useful to create clearer citation maps.

16 Other new features Enhancements to the WebPlus search: –Addition of 716 institutional repositories and a “Repository” tab –Social Search, personalize and share web results with comments, bookmarks and tags. Enhancements to ResearcherID include additional searchable fields, sorting capabilities and other enhancements EndNote Web: Links toolbar is a new toolbar for Internet Explorer and Firefox 3. It enables the user to capture data directly from other online databases making it easier to use and capturing links to original sources. Now support BibTeX export from Inspec
