2 Immunization and Requirements When travelling Argentina, there are a series of Immunizations that you need to have complete before entering the country. All travelers need: “Routine Vaccines” Most travelers need: – Hepatitis A – Typhoid Some travelers need: – Hepatitis B – Malaria – Yellow Fever – Rabies

3 Internet and Technology In the year 2000, less than 10% of Argentines owned personal computers. And of those who had ownership and access to computers, few had Internet access. From that point, however, both numbers grew quickly. As of a study in 2014, the update telecommunications statistics are as follows: – Land Line Phones: 10 million users Cell Phones: 58.6 million users Internet Hosts: 11.323 hosts Internet Users: 13.69 users

There has been a steady depreciation in the worth of the peso since 2002, when Argentina’s financial crisis hit. Suffrage (Ages to vote): 18- 70 years old, with an option for 16 & 17 year olds.

8 Climate Almost all of Argentina lies below the tropics, within the temperate zone of the Southern 55° S. The winter temperatures never reach freezing, so when there is precipitation, which is for most of the country light -- unless you are the Northeast-- it is seldom hail, and more commonly rain. Winter seasons are defined by long and dreary periods of rain, broken up sporadically by tropical air masses.

10 Greetings & Courtesies “El Che!” “You are more Argentine than dulce de leche” A common greeting, or more appropriately a "reference", in Argentina is the term "Ches". This is a very padded word. "Ches" is said to describe Argentines. It is a word-command used to address the 'second person', and is comparable to the American exclamation, "Hey! You!"

11 Clothing & Appropriate Dress “Change Clothes, then Go.” “And girl I promise you, no substitute. It’s just me” ~Jay-Z & Pharell Appropriate dress in Argentina is very closely linked with social status. Today, the rich youth of Argentina emulate North American models.
