The higher activity levels are harder to source and this is reflected in the price.
Anything that is less than 10+ is likely to have a significant Kanuka presence. You would need to consume more of 10+ to achieve the same efficacy as less of the higher grades.

MANUKAMED CONTINUES TO LEAD THE WAY WITH HONEY WOUND DRESSING REIMBURSEMENT!
On June 17, 2015 CMS decided to assign a miscellaneous surgical supply HCPCS code to certain honey dressings that do not meet fixed fee schedule requirements. This means that if you are a prescribing clinician using certain Manuka honey products that have been assigned the new HCPCS code A4649, increased documentation and narrative requirements will be necessary before reimbursement is considered.
ManukaMed is still the ONLY Company able to provide Manuka honey advanced wound care dressings with fixed fee HCPCS codes as follows:
