2. 2 COMPONENT OBJECTIVE Public Private Partnership: (Phase1-2)  The cooperation of private and public health services, with particular attention to faith-based service providers is institutionalized and supported by the national policy.

3. 3 ACHIEVEMENTS-NATIONAL LEVEL  A National Guideline for Establishment and Operationalisation of CHSB, FGCs, CHPT developed (03)  The National District Health Planning Guidelines defines the CHPT PPP composition in developing CCHPs.  A National PPP Steering Committee established,TOR in Place (06/07) and Quarterly meetings supported  2009-2015 HSSP- PPP strategy (6)elaborated by the NPPPSC.  A Contractual arrangement tool btw. Government and Service providers (Service Agreement) endorsed by MOHSW and PMORALG (Dec.07)  Costing for Service Agreement elaborated with CSSC (08)

4. 4 Achievements-Back-up level  Zonal CSSC-Policy Forums (Southern, Lake and Northern) Supported to operationalise the National Policies,HSR,NDHPG, SA  ¾ Regional PPP Steering Commitees established and Functional  Dodoma (CBHI) supported to elaborate the HSR (CHSB, FGCs, CHF )  Advocacy on SA jointly conducted by CSSC, APHFTA, TGPSH in 5 regions  Organisation of Professional Associations (Constitutional arrangement ) supported

5. 5 Achievements-Operational level  Council Health Service Boards (CHSBs) and Facility Governing Commitees established in all programme Districts.  PPP Council Health Planning Teams in place  SA Advocacy conducted in all four regions  TPHA Annual Conference 2008 used to bring Service Agreement Advocacy beyond the TGPSH districts.  Service Agreement Operationalised in five districts with FBOs/Private service providers (3Tanga 1Lindi,1Killy )
