7 When you rob from God, you are robbing from yourself.

8 The point of departure is the point of return.

9 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse that there may be food in my house.

10 Bring- Bringing Brings Blessing

11 The whole tithe- You cannot expect a full blessing with partial obedience. You cannot expect a full blessing with partial obedience.

12 Into the storehouse-the official gathering place, the place of worship, ministry and mission

13 That there may be food in my house- Provision for ministry and mission of the local church to the community.

15 When we tithe, we remove all hindrances; we open the floodgates of God’s blessings

16 The plural indicates that there are multiple channels of blessings.

17 God also promised that he would rebuke the devourer.

18 Tithing is a significant sign of God’s Lordship in our lives. If Jesus is not Lord of all; He is not Lord at all.

19 Faithfulness in our finances is a mark of Christian maturity.

20 Offerings are over and above the tithes.
