IMPORTANT POINTS IN LISTENING If the lecturer is too fast and you miss a point, don’t worry about it because then, you will miss all the points that follow, leave open spaces in notes. Don’t try to write down everything. Exchange notes with classmates. See lecturer after class. Ask lecturer to slow down. Develop a ear for catching the clues Company Logo

HOW TO REVIEW YOUR NOTES It is important to review the notes you have written before you go to a class. It is proven that if you revise and review any lecture within 24 hours you will never forget whatever you have learnt. Review also helps you understand better the next stage in the lesson which your lecturer will deal with in the class. Company Logo

EDITING OF NOTES Always edit as you review your notes. Correcting the information that you have taken down when it is fresh in your memory is sensible. Underline the key points that you have taken down. Clarity in taking down notes will help you later when it comes to revision and study for exams. Company Logo
