Multi Unit & Portal Training The Multi Unit module allows users the flexibility to handle larger properties, such as Apartment Complexes. From this Presentation you will learn about the following: Adding/Editing and Viewing Area Contacts Using Handouts Adding Handouts

Area Contacts Area Contacts…… Area specific Contact people and their information Can only be added to Building Areas & Unit Areas Can be entered in the Location Areas & Devices screen or in Customer Portal To access the Area Contacts screen select Area Contacts from the Account Information drop down menu.

Area Contacts Viewing & Editing On the Area Contacts screen select a Location to see all of the Areas on that Location If there is not a Contact currently on the Area you will see an Add link next to it If there is a Contact currently on the Area you will see two links Edit and Detail Both the Add and Edit link will open the Edit Contact window, where you can add or edit the Contact’s Name Phone Email Address The Detail link will open the Contact Detail window showing all the contact information that is entered Note- This only affects the Contact information. It will not affect the Area’s Address

My Documents Handouts The My Documents screen can be accessed by selecting My Documents in the Account Information Menu The new My Documents screen, seen above, has gone into effect for all Portal Users Only companies also using the Multi Unit Module will see the Handout link, click to go to the Handouts screen

My Documents Adding and Editing Handouts Handouts offer the customer a way to track who they have given documents to. Handouts can be especially useful for apartment complexes. To add a Handout click the New Handout button in the upper right corner When entering a Handout you have two sections Given By and Given To In the Given By enter the Name of the person who distributed this document and the Date that they did In the Given To section select the Location and then you can choose the Area (For example the Apartment # of the person) Next enter their Name and Title To add more than one Handout click Save & Add Another button to continue Once you are done adding Handouts click Save & Finish To exit without saving click Done
