1. The Covenant of Grace 恩 典 的 约 Romans 5:17 “For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.” 羅 馬 書 5:17 “ 若 因 一 人 的 过 犯 ， 死 就 因 这 一 人 作 了 王 ， 何 况 那 些 受 洪 恩 又 蒙 所 赐 之 义 的 ， 岂 不 更 要 因 耶 稣 基 督 一 人 在 生 命 中 作 王 麽 ？ ”

3. The covenant of life 生 命 的 约  Two trees in the garden of Eden 創 世 記 2:8-9) –“… In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. “… 园 子 当 中 又 有 生 命 树 和 分 别 善 恶 的 树 。 ”

4. The covenant of life 生 命 的 约  The Command of the Lord – “… when you eat of it you will surely die.” –Genesis 2:16-17 ‘And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.“’ 創 世 記 2:16-17 “ 耶 和 华 神 吩 咐 他 说 ： 园 中 各 样 树 上 的 果 子 ，你 可 以 随 意 吃 ，只 是 分 别 善 恶 树 上 的 果 子 ， 你 不 可 吃 ， 因 为 你 吃 的 日 子 必 定 死 ！ ”

5. The covenant of life 生 命 的 约  Disobedience of the one man (Adam) –Genesis 3:6 “When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.” 創 世 記 3:6 “ 於 是 女 人 见 那 棵 树 的 果 子 好 作 食 物 ， 也 悦 人 的 眼 目 ， 且 是 可 喜 爱 的 ， 能 使 人 有 智 慧 ， 就 摘 下 果 子 来 吃 了 ， 又 给 他 丈 夫 ， 他 丈 夫 也 吃 了 。 ”

6. Disobedience leads to sins of …  Omission – lack conformity to the law of God –We have not done that which God requires us to do.

7. Disobedience leads to sins of …  Trespassing – transgression of the law of God –We do the things that God does not want us to do.

8. The Covenant of Grace 恩 典 的 约  Father’s love –Ephesians 1:5-7 “He predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.”

9. The Covenant of Grace 恩 典 的 约  Obedience of the one man (Christ) –Romans 5:19 “For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.” – 羅 馬 書 5:19 “ 因 一 人 的 悖 逆 ， 众 人 成 为 罪 人 ； 照 样 ， 因 一 人 的 顺 从 ， 众 人 也 成 为 义 了 。 ”

10. The Covenant of Grace 恩 典 的 约  Obedience of the one man (Christ) –Philippians 2:6-11 “Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

11. The Covenant of Grace 恩 典 的 约  The Spirit of His Son –Galatians 4:4-7 ‘But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.’

12. Responding to His Grace by Obedience  Becoming His people (Jer. 7:23)  Having a solid foundation when the storms of life come against you (Luke 6:46-49)  Knowing spiritual truth (John 7:16- 17)  Receiving His blessings (Deut. 28:1, 8)
