Rabies
2
History of Rabies Rabies has been known since 2000 B.C. In the 18 th century, many countries tried to kill stray dogs so human won’t get bitten by rabid dog In the 19 th century, the idea of vaccinating dogs to prevent rabies infection to humans was brought up Nowadays, people can get vaccine for rabies But there are still no cures towards rabies

Symptoms of rabies My causes slight or partial paralysis, anxiety, insomnia, confusion, agitation, abnormal behavior, paranoia, terror, etc. People who have been infected by rabies will die in 2~10 days after the infection, and there is no way to be cured You may skip the next page, be prepared!!
5
How do people contact rabies?? People usually get get rabies from the bite of a rabid animal. It is also possible, but quite rare, that people may get rabies if infectious material from a rabid animal, such as saliva, gets directly into their eyes, nose, mouth, or a wound.
6
Prognosis of patient Once the symptoms of rabies start, the disease is nearly universally fatal, which means that every single person will eventually die with rabies
7
Can rabies be treated or cured? The answer is no. Even with todays technology, there is still no cure for rabies Because it is a disease that is infected from animal to human, so the cure is much harder to find!
8
Is there anyways to prevent infecting rabies? The good news is, Yes, there is. The prevention of rabies is to bring the pet or animal to the doctor to have a vaccine shot Which human can have the shot as well!
9
What is the future of rabies There will be some replacement for the vaccine shot since the shot is actually bad for our body. The replacement are: DAN vaccine, plant based vaccine, and recombinant viral vector vaccines
10
Are we likely to ever cure it? I believe the answer is yes Because of the great future of human, there should not be anything that is not possible to cure But at least rabies won’t be cured in the next hundred years for sure
11
Is rabies useful in some other way? Rabies is useful of killing people Which means that it deals nothing good for us

Interesting stuff about rabies Precious Reynolds of Willow Creek, Calif., is a typical 8-year-old who's spunky and loves sports. But this ordinary little girl has an extraordinary claim to fame: she's only the third person in the U.S. to survive rabies without getting the rabies vaccine shots normally given to anyone who becomes infected.
