What was so bad about the trenches? The bad things about staying in a trench is that you may get a disease called, “Trench Foot.” This disease can cause death, or serious pain. This disease can be caused by flooding trenches. A lot of people in the war have died to this disease.

Who Is Winston Churchill? Winston Churchill was the British prime minister through World wars 1 & 2. Sometimes Winston Churchill would make a letter V meaning victory.

Enlisting Posters Uncle Sam (American Enlisting) Throughout World war 1 & 2 there were thousands of posters that are about Uncle Sam and just posters to encourage men to join the army.
