Host Job Shadows and/or solicit companies to host job shadows (1 per course) Solicit and/or serve as guest speaker for CTAE courses: IBT, Entrepreneurial Ventures, Legal Environment of Business, Financial Literacy and IB Business and Management Visit classrooms during student presentation throughout semester Communicate job opportunities for WBL students to Work-Based Learning Teacher Identify skills and knowledge needed by students entering workforce based on community needs Assist and/or recruit members of the community to assist FBLA Advisors prepare FBLA members for Competitive Events Participate in mock interviews and/or mock trial simulation Seek FBLA attire donations for members in need (Navy blue sport coat, navy blue blazers, khaki, navy slacks, white dress shirts) Petition funds for FBLA member’s registration fees for Region Leadership Conference ($35), Competitive Events ($20) and State Leadership Conference ($65) ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER ACTIVITIES

INDUSTRY CERTIFICATION What is Industry Certification? Initiative of the State Department of Education Results in a “stamp of excellence” for our program Undergo rigorous reviews by leaders in the business industry Programs are typically certified for a period of five years Program Review for Certification will be in Spring 2015 Will need to show evidence of organized, active and involved advisory board Must have at least two advisory board meetings prior to the visit

Welcome to the North Atlanta High School’s FBLA Officer Installation As members, each of you took on the challenge to Discover Your Passion as this year’s goal for North Atlanta High School’s FBLA. The road will not be easy, but with support from chapter advisers, school administrators, parents, and members, you will achieve your goal!
