Forms of Lying Lies certainly can be spoken – Ps. 63:11 Lies can also be written (e-mails, etc.) We can refuse to speak truth as well (Silence – Js. 4:17) There are also half-truths – Gen. 12 & 20 (esp. v. 12)

Avoiding the Lies Resolve to speak truth – Eph. 4:25 Remember who you are – Col. 3:1-10 Test all things – I Thess. 5:21; I Jn. 4:1 Know God’s word – Jn. 17:17 Love your neighbor – Matt. 22:39
