With a little information and some guidelines, you can learn how to spot the healthier choice. Here are some tips for distinguishing between good (healthy) and bad (unhealthy) foods. Good foods include…Whole grains, such as whole- wheat breads and cereals, fruits, vegetables, lean meats, milk, water. Bad foods include…White bread, fried foods, processed foods (packaged chips, cookies, candy bars), soda Healthy is always an option

Jumping rope is a great way to burn calories. Cooking is a great way for families to learn about nutrition. Most of the fiber in fruit is in the peel! Soup is a great way to add vegetables to meals. Spaghetti squash can be used like actual pasta! Oatmeal with fresh fruit is a good source of fiber. The best way to exercise your heart is by walking and jogging!
