3. PREGNANCY  Females can carry the larvae by having the larvae attached.  If not attended to by the mother, the larvae flows in the current till in sinks to the ocean floor.  It takes 4 days the blob to start forming into a starfish.  After it hatches, its known as a larvae.

4. OFFSPRING  The starfish can get raised by the mother by being attached or it will be on its own.  It stays protected hiding under sea rocks and coral.  They are at risk to be eaten by whale.  They feed on minuscule plants and animals floating nearby.
