Table Manners Do(s) Family style meal – food is passed to the right If you do not want something, just pass it on. Eat soup with the side of the spoon, without noise. Break your bread, do not cut it. Always use a napkin to dab your mouth. Keep the table and table-cloth as clean as possible.

Table Manners Don’t(s) Do not put your elbow on the table, or sit too far back. Never tilt back your chair. Do not talk with food in your mouth! Do not open the mouth while chewing. Do not split anything out. Do not reach across the table or in front of someone to get something.
