REVIEWING THE 6 REGIONS ① New England – Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont. ② Mid-Atlantic – Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania. ③ South Part A- Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana. Part B- Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia.

REVIEWING THE 6 REGIONS ① Midwest Part A- Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri. Part B- Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota. ② Southwest – Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas. ③ West Part A- Alaska, Colorado, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana. Part B- Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming.

US REGIONS PROJECT MUST HAVES You will be creating a Keynote/ PowerPoint presentation of your region Slides (should be 10-12 slides) Must include visuals/maps Must include a short video clip about some aspect of your region Must include work’s cited page

REGIONS PROJECT Slides Should contain… Image of your region/states Major cities in your region 3-4 facts about each state in your region history / famous individuals Climate / Topography Major industries Kinds of Tourism Ethnic make-up of your region

WEEK IN REVIEW Monday & Tuesday: review for map quiz; US regions project Thursday: review for map quiz; present projects Friday : US map quiz; finish presenting projects
