Institute e-Austria Timisoara (IeAT) research institute in the field of Information Technologies (2002) RISC-Linz from the University of Linz, Computer Science Department, West University, Dep. of Computers from the Univ. Politehnica kernel of an IT Techonology Park (2003) pilot project funded mainly by Austrian Ministery of Economy, Austrian Ministery of Science, Romanian Ministery of Education and Research.

5. Long-term goals of the project create an environment for high-quality research and technology-transfer in the field of Information Technologies stimulate the scientific, technological, and economic cooperation between Romania and Austria.
