2 What do Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark and Iceland have in common historically?

3 After the masses of ice had melted water started to mold the terrain the Baltic Sea was contacted with the Atlantic and changed from lake in to a sea. The Sea that united

5 ...And to the vikings. Scandinavian vikings were seen on the shores of Finland about from the 9th century on especially on their ways to east, or todays Russia.

6 Lutheran religion came to Finland as late as in the late 10th century. It was cetled in the North in the 12th century it spread througt Sweden to Finland. And here you can see the Lutheran church of Pyhtää from the Middle Ages. Lutheran religion

7 Unions In the 12th century Swedes became interested in Finland. Three crusades were made to Finland: Turku 1155 Häme 1239 Karelia 1293 Finland was incorporated into Sweden

8 Swedish language came to Finland and you can see it forexaple in that Finland is bilingual and we study Swedish at school.

9 Swedish era ended with Napoleon wars when in 1809 Finland was incoporated into Russia.
