What is the Internet of Things?  Trillions of devices connected to the internet and having their own IP address  IPv4 allows 4.3 trillion devices -> led to creation of IPv6  Data output from mobile devices growing creating opportunity for Data Scientists  Consumer devices bring insight or information to individuals.  Business or industrial applications are focused on alerting to problems in expensive industrial machines instead of sending out service professionals.
