What is BI? BI = Business Intelligence MBI = Mortgage Business Intelligence There is an infinite amount of data available, but managing that data and turning it into actionable information is the most difficult aspect. Business Intelligence allows users to access relevant information, apply analytics and use it in forecasting and performance monitoring. Allows the user to shift from being reactive to proactive.

Why is BI Important? The goal is to allow for easy interpretation of a large amount of data. To identify trends, both positive and negative, before they occur and be able to take action to replicate or correct those trends. Easily and instantly answer the big questions of; Who? What? Where? Why? When? How? While supporting it with data and facts.

What is Motivity? Motivity is a BI system that was founded on the principles of focusing on the mortgage industry. Founded by Tyler and Todd Sherman in Denver, Colorado.

Why Motivity? Spreadsheets Spreadsheets are time consuming to create and use. Spreadsheets are error prone. Spreadsheets are difficult to read and consume. Offers limited information for a single moment in time. Can potentially fall into the wrong hands. BI Data is delivered automatically, no user interventions required. Data is validated to be error free. Data is organized into easy to read visualizers. Data is constantly polled and updated from every area. Data is secured and visible only to credentialed users.
