2 Financial management refers to management of money(funds) in such a manner as to accomplish the objective of the organization. WHAT IS FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT?

3 A financial planner is a qualified investment professional who helps individuals and corporations meet their long-term financial objectives by analyzing the client’s status and setting a program to achieve that client’s goals. FINANCIAL PLANNER

4 Financial manager are responsible for the financial health of an organization. They produce financial reports, direct investment act ivies, and develop strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals of their organization. FINANCIAL MANAGER

5 A financial analyst, securities analyst, research analyst, equity analyst, or investment analyst is a person who performs financial analysis for external or internal clients as a core part of the job. FINANCIAL ANALYST

6 A treasurer is a person appointed to administer or manage the financial assets and liabilities of a society, company, local authority, or other body. TREASURER

7 An accounting designation whose holder has formally demonstrated a mix of expertise in financial accounting and strategic management. This certification expands on financial accounting by adding management skills that help to make strategic business decisions based on financial information. CERTIFIED MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

8 A broker clerk perform duties related to the purchase, sale or holding of securities. Duties include writing orders for stock purchases or sales, computing transfer taxes, verifying stock transactions, accepting and delivering securities, tracking stock price fluctuations, computing equity, distributing dividends, and keeping records of daily transactions and holdings.
