Inserting Hyperlinks Purpose : Enables viewers to click the link and move directly to a slide Directions : Make one link on slide one to move to each slide and add a home link on each slide to go back to slide one.

Create a Hyperlink using a Text Box Click Insert Select Text Box Draw Text Box Key text ―Can use slide title such as HOTELS Highlight text Right click and select Hyperlink or click the Hyperlink icon Step 1

Set Up the Hyperlink In the Hyperlink Window: Change the “Link To” from Existing File or Web Page to Place in This Document Select the slide where the link will go Click OK Step 2

Change the Hyperlink Color The default color for hyperlinks is blue. If this color does not fit with your color scheme, change the link to a better color. Highlight the text for one Hyperlink Click the Design Tab Find the Variant Group and click the down arrow to reveal the list Select Colors and scroll to the bottom of the list to Select Customize Colors o Create New Theme Colors window will appear Find Hyperlink and change the color Find Followed Hyperlink and change it to the same color All of your Hyperlinks for this presentation will change to this color Step 3

Create a Hyperlink on Each Slide to Return to the First Slide Click Insert Select Shapes ―Scroll to Action Buttons (at the bottom) Select the “Home” Action Button Click OK ―Link will appear on the slide Copy and paste the link to the remainder of your slides Step 1

Change the color scheme of the Hyperlink Click on the home hyperlink Click Drawing Tools tab at the top of the document (orange) Click Shape Fill, select a color Click Shape Outline, select a color More Info Shape Fill Shape Fill and Outline
