3. How do seas differ from oceans in terms of size, depth, salinity and location? SIZE: Seas are much smaller DEPTH: Seas are much shallower SALINITY: Most seas are salt water but some are brackish LOCATION: Most are surrounded by land with an outlet to a major sea or ocean

Notice: Oceans surround continents…. Land surrounds seas. Seas are also small indentions around the edges of the continents
