At 7.30 a.m. we usually have breakfast at home, we have milk with biscuits or cereals, bread with jam and fruit juice.

At 10.00 a.m. we have a break at school and we often have snacks.

At about 1.30 p.m. we have lunch at home. We generally eat pasta with tomatoes or pasta with pulse, like beans, peas, lentils and chickpeas. After lunch we usually eat some fruit.

We often eat bread with Nutella, yoghurt with cereals or snacks and fruit juice.

At 8.30 p.m. we have dinner at home with our families. We usually eat meat, fish, dairy products or eggs with vegetables. We always finish our meals with some fruit.

PIZZA Pizza is our typical dish. It is made of tomatoes,mozzarella,parmesan, oil and basil. The dough is made of flour, water and brewer’ s yeast. LASAGNA It is prepared with homemade pasta, tomato sauce,mozzarella, ricotta(soft, white unsalted cheese),small fried meatballs and parmesan. SAUSAGES AND BROCCOLI This dish is made of sausages with “friarielli”, that is a local variety of broccoli.

Pastiera This is a pastiera, it is made of ricotta, boiled corn, sugar, eggs, candied fruit. Babà A babà is made of Manitoba, eggs, butter, sugar, yeast,water and rum. Sfogliatelle These are “sfogliatelle ricce”.They are made of puff pastry filled with ricotta, sugar, eggs and candied fruit.
