Ezekiel Son of Buzi Name means “God will strengthen” Born 622 BC during reign of Josiah, grew up in Palestine He was 17 when Daniel taken to Babylon

Ezekiel He was 25 when taken to Babylon, along with 10,000 others Jehoiachin was king at this time Called to prophecy at 35 No indication he ever returned Jerusalem fell 6 years after he began to prophecy.

Ezekiel Contemporary of Jeremiah & Daniel but apparently never met Jeremiah – Stayed in Jerusalem Daniel – Capitol city of Babylon Ezekiel Rural are on irrigation canal near Euphrates River Also contemporary with Zephaniah, Nahum & Habakkuk
