Summary Report Project Name: Medical Image and Artifact Management Infrastructure (MIAMI) Brief Project Description: This Charter project aims to assist in coordinating activities related to open source Medical Imaging projects and to implement a reference architecture and production quality toolkit, among other subprojects, that will support the management and archiving of medical images and associated non- imaging information. The software components will provide the foundation for the cross-enterprise management, transmission and storage of medical images and their artifacts using the DICOM, HL7, IHE standards, and Web 2.0 technologies. Major milestones to date: 0.5 M3 September 2012 Major release dates: 1.0 June 2013 Projected milestones: 0.6 M1 November 2012; Contribution date: February 2011 Contribution value: Approximately 8 person years invested in the original contribution (MINT 1.0) plus new work with the MIAMI project team
