THE GOD OF THE SECOND CHANCE! “And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth…Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I give all to you as I gave the green plant. Only you shall not eat animal flesh with it’s life…” Whoever shed’s man’s blood, by man his blood shall be shed for in the image of God He made man. And as for you, be fruitful and multiply; populate the earth abundantly and multiply in it.” (Gen. 9:1-7)

THE SAME! BUT NOT THE SAME! THE SAME RESPONSIBILITY BUT DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENT! MAN IS DIFFERENT – FALLEN ANIMALS ARE DIFFERENT – FEARFUL DIET IS DIFFERENT MAN IS ACCOUNTABLE FOR LIFE!

THE BOTTOM LINE! MANKIND HAS THE SAME RESPONSIBILITY UNDER NOAH THAT HE HAD UNDER ADAM! BUT UNDER IMPOSSIBLE CONDITIONS!

THE REASON AND THE NECESSITY FOR THE PROMISE FROM GOD! IF MAN FAILED AND FELL UNDER THE PERFECT CONDITIONS UNDER ADAM WHICH BROUGHT JUDGMENT – MANKIND WOULD NOW MOST CERTAINLY FAIL UNDER THE FALLEN AND IMPERFECT CONDITIONS OF NOAH!

GOD’S COVENANT SIGN! A GUARANTEE! “And God said, ‘This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you…I set my bow in the cloud and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth….When the bow is in the cloud, then I will look upon it, to remember that everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.’” Genesis 9:12-16
